About the Club
BC Men's Club Volleyball is a competitive club playing in the D1AA Division of the NECVL, regularly playing opponents such as BU, Northeastern, Harvard, and other schools in the Northeast. Open gym and tryouts are held in the fall near the start of classes. They practice the entire year twice a week at the Margot Connell Recreation Center, but their season begins in the spring semester. They generally play in one preseason tournament in the fall and play five tournaments in the spring in which they travel to locations like New Hampshire, Harvard, or Lowell. Their final tournament is NCVF Volleyball Championships (AKA Nationals) in which the team usually travels out of state to places like Kansas City, MO or Phoenix, AZ.

Tryouts are held every fall within the first couple weeks of the semester. Everyone is welcome to try out but it is usually pretty competitive with 30-50 people trying out and only 3-6 accepted onto the team each year. Prior volleyball experience is necessary in most cases. An open gym will also be held before tryouts for anyone interested.
