BC Clean is a donation initiative overseen by the Office of Residential Life in collaboration with Custodial Services and the Office of Sustainability. Members of the BC Community have the opportunity to donate items in good condition, such as clothing, non-perishable food, books, appliances, as well as general household goods and furniture. All donations are collected by local non-profit organizations who distribute them to individuals and families in the greater 艾可直播 community. Donation drop off locations are set up on the last day of classes during the Spring semester across Newton, Upper, and Lower campuses so students can donate items until they depart for Summer break.

Helpsy is a Public Benefit Corporation with a mission to keep clothes out of the trash and to create honorable work. They help keep clothes and other textiles out of the waste stream and find a new home at second hand clothing stores, or dispose of them in ways that are environmentally friendly.

Since the pandemic began in March 2020, the Brookline Food Pantry has served 650-700 families weekly (four times more than pre-Covid) and set up a new service to deliver food to more than 130 elderly or homebound clients each week, in addition to the 650 coming in person.

The Habitat ReStore concept started when Habitat affiliates began to receive donations of building materials and household goods. Habitat began selling these donated items to the public and using the proceeds to cover costs of building homes. There are nearly 800 Habitat ReStores in the US & Canada.
