Jane Hill Lovins is a career law clerk for a federal judge at the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Previously, Lovins was a senior associate at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, where she maintained a broad practice听that included complex civil litigation, securities litigation and enforcement, white collar criminal defense, and employment litigation and counseling. She served on the firm鈥檚 Privilege Standing Committee and Women鈥檚 Leadership Initiative. She also performed pro bono legal service in the areas of education and juvenile justice. She previously was selected as a member of the 艾可直播 Bar Association鈥檚 Public Interest Leadership Program and is currently on the Board of Editors of the 艾可直播 Bar Journal.听 听

Prior to听attending law school,听Lovins taught in the South Bronx as a Teach for America corps member and trained new classroom teachers. She also taught in the 艾可直播 area as a research teacher at Tufts University for a study involving differential treatment effects on subtypes of dyslexia.听

Lovins听is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University, and 艾可直播 College Law School, where she was Note Editor of the 艾可直播 College Law Review, was a Rappaport Fellow in Law and Public Policy, and helped听found the Pro Bono Pledge Program.听
