Profile

Carolyn Ann Romano, MSW, LICSW, teaches courses covering Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, General Systems Theory, Group Development, Clinical Pathology and Adventure Therapy at the °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College School of Social Work. In addition to earning her BA in Social Work at The Catholic University of America and her MSW at °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ College Graduate School of Social Work, Carolyn has post-graduate training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Brief Strategic Family Therapy.

In her private practice at Counseling Collaborative, LLC, Ms. Romano works primarily with adolescents, adults and families. Employing Solution-Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and Adventure Therapy Techniques, she most commonly addresses client concerns relating to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, family systems and adolescent development. Ms. Romano is an accomplished Solution-Focused and Adventure Therapy trainer who has delivered trainings as far away as New Zealand.
