Julie A. Canfield, Ph.D., LICSW, is a clinical instructor in the School for Social Work and a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in the °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ area, where she specializes in providing behavioral healthcare to veterans, military couples, and family members that have been impacted by military service.

Dr. Canfield received a Ph.D. in Social Work from Smith College with dissertation studies focused on clinical treatment of childhood trauma and increasing resilience among child trauma therapists. Dr. Canfield received her M.S.W. from Hunter College School of Social Work and her Bachelor's degree from New York University.
