Service learning opportunities exemplify our commitment to making the world more just and enhancing the human condition. In the Jesuit tradition of educating men and women in service to others, our students gain hands-on experience working in underserved urban schools, domestic shelters, and community centers in Greater °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ and around the world.
Guided by supportive °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥and mentors, students synthesize research and practice as they make a genuine difference in the lives of others—and themselves.
“Working alongside so many people at the Lynch School who have dedicated their careers to education, I realize now—more than ever—that I have a responsibility to give back.”
LSEHD students, faculty, and alumni use their talents and gifts to help others through a variety of service projects across the state, nation, and world. Extended service trips allow students to immerse themselves in a culture that may be different than their own and to serve populations that are not generally accessible in the °¬¿ÉÖ±²¥ community.Â
