She is the author of聽Words of Witness: Black Women鈥檚 Post-Brown Autobiography聽and a former editor and writer at聽The Village Voice聽and聽Ms.聽Her work has also appeared in聽Time,聽Essence,聽The Nation, and聽The Los Angeles Times Book Review, among others.

Joe Bergantino

Joe Bergantino is an award-winning investigative reporter and co-founder and executive director emeritus of the New England Center for Investigative Reporting. He led the I-Team at聽WBZ-TV聽(CBS/艾可直播) for 22 years and was also an聽ABC News聽correspondent covering national politics. He鈥檚 trained journalists all over the world, including in Russia, China, Vietnam, and Ukraine.

Christopher Boucher

Christopher Boucher is author of the widely praised novels聽Golden Delicious聽and聽How to Keep Your Volkswagen Alive. He is also editor of the literary journal聽Post Road聽and a member of the Journalism Steering Committee.

Christopher Burns

Chris Burns has worked as a photojournalist and executed corporate projects for聽ESPN, the Nature Conservancy, Harvard University, MIT, and many other clients. He operates a small creative agency in 艾可直播 where he focuses on commercial photography and livestream production and operation. He earned an MFA from Louisiana State University, where he produced work at the intersection of photojournalism and studio photography.

Christine Caswell is a聽Telly and AP award-winning broadcast journalist. Twice nominated for Emmys, she has anchored and reported for聽WHDH-TV,聽FOX25 艾可直播,聽New England Cable News,聽WMUR,聽WMTW,聽and聽WVII. She is a Lecturer, Advisor, and Director of Internships in the Communication Department. Her area of expertise is in telling difficult stories, having covered high-profile cases such as the O.J. Simpson trial, British Nanny trial, and Jeffrey Curley case.聽

Kevin Convey is a former editor in chief of聽The New York Daily News聽and聽The 艾可直播 Herald. He has taught at the City College of New York, New York University, and Quinnipiac University. His areas of expertise include newswriting and reporting, editing, mobile journalism, new journalism technology, entrepreneurial journalism, and leadership, management, and organization in the digital newsroom.

Jimmy Golen

Jimmy Golen is a sports writer for聽The Associated Press聽covering the area鈥檚 professional sports teams along with 艾可直播 College football and basketball. He was the聽AP鈥檚 beat writer when the Red Sox ended their 86-year World Series drought in 2004 (and again when they won the next three times). He has covered 11 Olympics and more than 25 艾可直播 Marathons, including the 2013 race that was interrupted by a terrorist attack. He was a 1999 Knight Journalism Fellow at Yale Law School and a contributor to聽The Oxford Handbook of American Sports Law.聽

Scott Helman

Scott Helman is a distinguished senior lecturer and associate director of the Journalism program. He spent more than 23 years at聽The 艾可直播 Globe聽as an executive producer, creative leader, podcast show-runner, editor, staff writer, and live storytelling director. A two-time finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Local Reporting, he has executive produced award-winning podcasts and documentary shorts. He is co-author of the books聽The Real Romney聽and聽Long Mile Home: 艾可直播 Under Attack, the City's Courageous Recovery, and the Epic Hunt for Justice.

Courtney Humphries is Visiting Assistant Professor in Environmental Studies, an award-winning journalist and science writer, and a former Knight Science Journalism Fellow at MIT. She's written about urban planning, environmental science, biology, neuroscience, health, and architecture for multiple publications, including聽The 艾可直播 Globe,聽Nature,聽Science,聽Technology Review,聽Harvard Magazine,聽Nautilus, and聽The聽Atlantic.聽

Maura Johnston

Jonathan Laurence is Professor of Political Science and Director of the Clough Center for the Study of Constitutional Democracy. He is author of the book聽Coping with Defeat: Sunni Islam, Roman Catholicism, and the Modern State. A lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations, his work has been featured on聽CNN聽and in聽The Washington Post,聽The聽New York Times,聽Le Monde, and聽The Wall Street Journal, among other publications. He's also a member of the Journalism Steering Committee.

Janelle Nanos is the journalism fellow at the Institute for the Liberal Arts and an award-winning business reporter at聽The 艾可直播 Globe, where she also serves as the assistant business editor for news innovation. She was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Feature Writing for her decade-long investigation into a woman's allegations of childhood sexual abuse, and is now working on a book, to be published by Crown, based on that reporting. She has also worked at聽艾可直播 Magazine,聽National Geographic Traveler, and聽New York Magazine.聽

Heather Cox Richardson is Professor of History and author of the popular Substack newsletter 鈥淟etters from an American.鈥 A specialist in the politics and economics of 19th-century America, her books include聽Democracy Awakening: Notes on the State of America;聽To Make Men Free: A History of the Republican Party; and聽West from Appomattox: The Reconstruction of America After the Civil War.
