Dr. Ruth Langer is Professor of Jewish Studies in the Theology Department at 艾可直播 College, Interim Director of its听Center for Christian-Jewish Learning, and past chair of the Council of Centers on Jewish-Christian Relations. Langer writes and speaks in two major areas: the development of Jewish liturgy and ritual; and Christian-Jewish relations. Widely published in academic journals, Dr. Langer is also the author of three books:听Jewish Liturgy: A Guide to Research(Rowman and Littlefield);听Cursing the Christians? A History of the Birkat HaMinn听(Oxford University); and听To Worship God Properly: Tension Between Liturgical Custom and Halakhah in Judaism听(Hebrew Union College Press)听
