Promoting human flourishing and positive growth in children, adolescents, and young adults with life-threatening conditions
Eunji Cho, Ph.D., RN, is an assistant professor at the Connell School of Nursing. Her research program focuses on promoting human flourishing and positive growth in children, adolescents, and young adults with life-threatening conditions. Dr. Cho is developing and testing various storytelling interventions for this population, including a nurse-patient dyadic storytelling program for adolescents and young adults with cancer, digital storytelling interventions for children with serious illnesses, and family storytelling programs. She is also interested in developing a theoretical framework of human flourishing in young individuals with adverse situations. Another area of her research is nursing education, including cybercivility and technology-based pedagogy. Dr. Cho completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Palliative Care Research Cooperative Group, and Hospice and Palliative Nurse Association.
