Quantum Materials
This is the largest research direction in our department. The main objective of this research is to understand and manipulate the collective properties and emergent phenomena of many-body systems from the aspects of quantum coherence, entanglement, and topology.
The research topics include, but are not limited to topological materials, superconductivity, spin liquids, low dimensional magnets, disordered systems, twistronics, quantum phase transitions, and non-equilibrium quantum dynamics.
